Social
The heart of every Table is an active social club. Saffron Walden Round Table meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month to try new activities, take part in talks and sometimes just to meet for a beer and a curry. If a month has 5 Wednesdays, we meet on that 5th Wednesdays and invite our partners, friends and family and engage in in a social activity for all to enjoy.

Community Impact
Every year Saffron Walden Round Table gives away thousands of pounds to great local causes charities and clubs. On top of that we donate 100s of hours of time to help out at fetes, fairs and other events.
We also put on our own community events such as the Easter Egg Hunt in Bridge End Gardens, The Fireworks display on the common and Santa Sleigh runs around Saffron Walden.
Once every 3 years we put on the extravaganza that is the 8 Day Weekend. A 9 day Carnival like not other, this brings together people for many fantastic, inclusive music and community based events.
Fund Raising
Each year through donations at our community events, we raise thousands of pounds to help out clubs, schools, charities individuals and those that are need of help.
The money we raise goes to all sorts of equipment; from swimming starting blocks to cookers, as well as supporting charities and individuals to give some of the most vulnerable members of our community a boost when they need it the most.
