Saffron Walden Round Table’s BIG DAY OUT – Saturday 17th July 2020
SWRT are happy to announce that we will be holding a one day event on The Common on Saturday 17th July 2021. This event will be a safe covid compliant event.
With activities and music on the 3D Events Stage with food from food stalls and a licensed bar run by SWRT. We hope they you all pop down to see us for a Big Day Out
Staying Safe
We start with some great activates during the morning and early afternoon, then introduce some music early afternoon into the evening on the 3D Events Stage. We have a number of food trucks from lunchtime and a license bar run by Saffron Walden Round Table.

3D Events Stage
12:00 – 22:00
In order to keep everyone safe, and compliant with stage three lockdown restrictions, we ask you to abide by the following rules when in the licensed area
- 2m social distancing at all queues
- One person from a group to go to the bar
- No more than 30 people in each designated enclosure
- Do not change groups/switch enclosures
- Do not leave your enclosure unless it is to purchase food or drink, or to use the toilets
- Under the current Covid restrictions, singing or dancing is not allowed.
- We encourage you to wear a face mask when at the bar, and don’t forget to check in on the NHS app.
Hand sanitiser is provided throughout please use regularly.
Please spread out and stay socially distanced, the music sounds the same wherever you are
Story Featuring Dennis Stratton

Headline act for the Big Day Out is ‘Story fearing Dennis Stratton, the former Iron Maiden lead guitarist who is celebrating 40 years in the music industry.
Alongside him will be his band comprising of Dave, Tommy and Martin, all of which have been in big bands of the years.

Plan your Visit
Entry to the site can be made from 11am. Although the Common won’t be fenced off, please do adhere to social distancing where possible.
The main arena will be limited to a capacity.
If you wish to sit then please do bring your own blanket or camping chair.
Parking: If you are parking for the event please look to park at Swan Meadow Car Park

Who Are Saffron Walden Round Table
Saffron Walden Round Table are a group of guys aged 18-45 who meet up to make friends and make a difference.
We do this through organising events such as the Saffron Walden Carnival 8 Day Weekend and running other events such as the Free Charity Firework display, Santa Sleigh, Drive In Cinema, Easter Egg Hunt with a goal to provide fun events and then using all profits towards helping those in our local community
If you’re a guy aged 18-45 locally who wants to help the local community, you are more than welcome to join us and see if its for you.
